The Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC applies to electrical and electronic equipment which utilise voltages in the range 50V to 1000V AC and 75V to 1500V DC. This old directive was brought into line within the ‘New Approach’ and implemented into UK law under SI 1994 No 3260. |
